La Vallée Des Couleurs

La Vallée des couleurs is a natural park in Mauritius and home to a rich fauna and flora, including some endemic species. The park features magnificent scenic spots; of hills, waterfalls, lakes, forests and the land of 23 Colours, resulting from its volcanic past. La Rhumerie De Chamarel

Rhumerie de Chamarel is located in the fertile valley of the South-West region of Mauritius. On the way to La Rhumerie, visitors can admire panoramic views of sprawling sugarcane plantations, interspersed with tropical fruits such as pineapples.

 

Bois Cheri Tea Factory

Bois Cheri is a tea factory and a museum. It is the first tea plantation in Mauritius which dates back to 1892.

During the visit, you will learn about the different stages of tea production: from picking to packaging, withering, fermentation, drying and sieving. Bois Chéri produces a wide range of flavoured teas, green teas and herbal teas.

La Vanille Nature Park

La Vanille Nature Park is an idyllic and stunning park of lush tropical vegetation covering 3.5 hectares. Enjoy the unforgettable experience of walking amongst the largest group of captive-bred giant Aldabra tortoises in the world. It has more than 1000 tortoises in the park, in addition to 2000 Nile Crocodiles as well as a variety of other animals such as monkeys, iguanas, bats, deer, geckos, eels, wild boar and more. You can also visit the Insectarium with more than 23,000 specimens, an aquarium and fossil museum.

Domaine De Saint Aubin

Enjoy a tranquil visit to the St Aubin House with variouses points of interest and sites within the estate. You will discover the transformation process of the vanilla orchid from the flower to the aromatic pod as well as the rum making process and get the opportunity to stroll in the tropical and spice garden
